Enabling Receive Diversity on MTCDT-H5

The MTCDT-H5 ships with RX Diversity turned off by default. The following procedure
shows how to turn on RX Diversity.

  1. Log onto MTCDT using the USB debug port or an Ethernet SSH session.
  2. At the command prompt, run the following two commands to verify that the H5
    radio is responsive. You should see an “OK” response.

    $ microcom /dev/modem_at0
AT

OK
  3. Issue the following command to enable receive diversity: 
    AT#RXDIV=1
  4. Issue the following command to confirm the setting. The first parameter
    returned should be 1.

    AT#RXDIV?
  5. Close the microcom utility by typing [CTRL]-x.
  6. Attach cellular antenna to the AUX connector on the back of the MTCDT
    device.
