Ah sorry, didn’t see the extra G in AT+CGREG. Thanks for your help, I will try using that command instead.
AT+CREG? Returns 0,0 (not registered) like I said in my original post. I will look into manually connecting, it was not mentioned anywhere in the documentation that I could find.

Restarting my machine fixed it, but I’ll leave this here in case anyone else has the problem.

I was basically just asking if I could use jumper wires like these
to create a makeshift “socket” I can then connect to a breadboard or solder a spliced USB cable to so I didn’t have to solder the pins themselves. The socket you linked is perfect though, so I’ll just wait for those to arrive.
And yes we would mainly be using it for 4G LTE.
