You are right. I don’t know why I thought there was a server on the web that had the rootfs. I re-flashed the rootfs via Ethernet. Thanks again for all your help.

Great, perfect timing on my part to ask this :). I been trying to write rules for the ftdio_sio usb device thinking I need to change that away from ttyUSB0. But I understand now.
Thanks you
Lucas
Yes I have a dev device. I have connected the 3pin serial debug cable, and I was able to log in the dev modem and delete the auto start.
What happens if this were to happen on a non-dev device? Is there a way to recover?
Thanks
Lucas
Hi
I made changes to the /etc/init.d/finish.sh to start my program at device power up after all the initializaion happens. However, I forgot to run it in the background now I can’t SSH to the device via ethernet. How to recover from this?
Thanks in advance
Lucas
