To me it seems as if the mDot memory does not get properly reset when updating the FW. Could it be, that some part of the memory is not cleared when flashing a FW, that does not use the whole capacity of the flash memory?

unfortunately I am not able to send any command since the console is blocked by the output of the loop…

Ok the refresh actually enabled more options on the conduit. I changed the channel plan option to EU868 there.

As on the mDot I have FW mdot-firmware-1.0.8-1 installed. Although the DETAILS.TXT says:

Version: 0221
Build: Apr 29 2015 13:11:12

But ati shows:

Firmware: 1.0.8-1
Library : 1.0.8-1

Anyway, changing to EU868 did the trick – thank you!
