Tagged: Programming xDot
We have an xDot mounted on our PCB. We have always programmed it using the xDot dev kit without issue (it programs at such a high level that you have no idea what is going on – it just works). We now have a Segger production programmer (as recommended by MultiTech) that we are trying to get working. We are using this with the Segger J-Flash application. I have never seen anything in the user literature about the addresses and range of the application program in flash; I was hoping that J-Flash would just figure that out. But I am not even getting to this point. The Segger connects successfully, but when I try to do anything I get an error message that says “Could not find CFI compliant flash device…” after which the programmer disconnects. I am thinking that I should be programming internal flash on the processor, and I’m not even sure that this applies. Something is wrong in my setup. Help!
