scheduling failed: internal error

For quite a number of faxes scheduled via XML POSTs, I am getting this in return:

<response>

<message>scheduling failed: internal error</message>

</response>

Any idea why? Are there some log files I can read on the device?

Ah, I got it, /var/log/ff/faxfinder reports:

Nov 28 08:32:34 swog-ff FaxScheduler: (load_fe:525) rcpt_fax contains invalid character: john doe (censored)

It turns out that one of our clients occasionally put a person’s name in as a fax number. Please consider this thread solved, thank you.

How do I access the file location of the reports? We get to the device via an ip address that is on the same subnet as our phones–it is a completely different schema as our pcs.
