I have a MultiConnect Conduit AP MTCAP running mlinux 3.3.9. I changed some settings on it and I can no longer SSH into the device. Usually when this happens, I reset it to factory settings and can get back in. However, the reset button no longer works – whether I hold it for a few seconds, 15 or more than 30, the device doesn’t reboot.
I edited a file in /etc/default called reset-handler (it has ENABLED=”yes”) as well as /etc/default/mts-io (with GPSGNSSRESET=1 and DEBUG=0).
Is there anyway to get back into this router? Perhaps a port somewhere if I open up the case? Thanks.
Nick,
Please open a Multitech Support Portal case at https://support.multitech.com and they can help you.

I have the same issue. Unable to SSH into the device. Need to reset the unit.
However holding reset button does not work.
Hi. They really helped me out with this. You can find the instructions and attachments they sent to me zipped up here: https://ufile.io/s6a08 but note that it’s all for MTCAP. Not sure what you have.
Thanks Nick,
Mine is a MTCDT 210L version.
Cheers, Leo
Ahh sorry, it might be totally different inside yours. And the files in that folder won’t work. I bet you could open a help ticket for it.
Yes. Have lodged a support request.
