    I’ve just observed something very odd with my 4G IP67 Multitech gateway… it has been running fine for several months but today it won’t send anything on the uplink channel – just the downlink channel (I use different ports between uplink and downlink and just use the packet forwarder).

    Any ideas what might cause this? I can’t easily reboot the device as it is remote to me and I have no means of logging onto it presently.

    After a reboot, the gateway was fine again. It’d be great to understand how this may have happened. I’ve certainly not seen it before. Thanks for any info.

    What firmware version is running?

    I *think* it was 1.6, but I’ve no access to the device as it is remote. The device was commissioned in July last year.
