    Hi,

I’m just starting to test an multi-SIM card scenario. I’m polling using HTTP.

When I send a text to number 555-1111, I get a result that includes:

    <ModemNumber>1:555-2222</ModemNumber>

I had assumed that this field would indicate what number the text was sent to? I need to be able to respond to the number that the text was originally sent to rather than the number it came in on. How can I accomplish this?

As well it seems when I send it to the other number I get this result:

    <ModemNumber>2:</ModemNumber>

Any idea why I might not be getting a modem number at all? Could this be an issue with the SIM card? This one seemed to work when there was only one SIM card in the modem.

If possible I’d like an answer asap. If I can’t achieve what I need, we’re going to have to adjust our expections.

    Thanks,

    Dan

Dan, I’m not an expert but you have to go in to each Modem and set the SIM Number(phone number). Looks like the SIM number may not be set on your second modem.

    Hi Dan,

Kirk is correct. The ModemNumber field will only contain the phone number if the SIM Number is configured in the Network Setup->Cellular Modem menus. There is a tab at the top to select each modem and set them individually.

    Regards,

    Bryon
