    Hey Guys

I had the TTN packet forwarded installed on the mlinux unit and wanted to reload the defualt multitech firmware onto the conduit. after SCP the images and bin files to the conduit i ran the
touch /var/volatile/do_flash_upgrade command and reboot. the device is now stuck and did not want to boot. when logging in via the USB port the U-boot reports image “can’t get kernel image!” hard reset does nothing and cant log in via SCP to reload the images.

what to do ? Here is the response on putty.

I Have read that the device has to be reloaded using uboot procedure but im afraid the uboot step by step guide is not clear enough. what is minicom and how do you use it.

is it not easier to mount a USB device with firmware and boot from usb to reload the code ?

    Johann,

Please create a support case at https://support.multitech.com

Describe what has happened as you have stated here, and they can help you re-flash with u-boot.
