Hi,
I noticed the standard operating voltage (VCC) for the MDot is listed in the specification as being 3.3v to 5v. In testing, we were able to lower the voltage down to 2v before experiencing problems with it’s behavior. Could you confirm whether 3.3v really is the minimum recommended voltage.
We ask because we’re powering our MDot with a 3.3v battery that in some circumstances, can only output 2.6 to 3.0 v (happens when it gets very cold). We need to determine whether we need a DC-DC converter on our board to keep the voltage above 3.3.
Thanks, Tom
