Hello,
I’m trying to send fax from FaxFinder FF230 with FW2.2.9.2 with numbers in international format. I tried several different formats:
– 00491234567890 (number is only an fictitious example)
– +491234567890Because of the fact that our telephone systems needs a prefix (0) to establish a call outside the company, I’ve done the following settings for the modems:
Modem Fax ID Country Code Answer On Max Ext Digits Routing Routing Definition Fax Direction Error Correction Max Baud Rate Smart Dial Dial Prefix Tone Dial Init String Fax Debugging
1 fax-modem1-m1 Germany(DE) 0 4 dtmf both on 33600 off 0 on off
2 fax-modem1-m2 Germany(DE) 0 4 dtmf both on 33600 off 0 on offI’ve also tried setting “Dial Prefix” empty and give 000491234567890 as target number which also fails.
In all cases I get an “No Carrier”. But when I try the exact Number without the international code (I’m testing from Germany to Germany) the the fax is sent by the first time.
Any hints what I’m doing wrong?
Here are the logs for the different formats:

At the present time, the FaxFinder only supports adding a dial prefix to every outgoing call.
We are currently testing new features. One of these features is dialing rules. You should be able to configure the FaxFinder for international dialing when this firmware is released. I’m sorry, I don’t have a release date as testing has just started.
Regards,
