How to access the terminal interface

I am using MTCAP-915-001L.

I’m looking at the manual but I don’t understand it.

My current state is that my PC is using the wireless Internet and is connected to MTCAP by Ethernet.

And with the Ethernet setup of MTCAP,

IPv4
IP address : 192.168.2.100
Subnet Mask : 255.255.255.0
Gateway : 192.168.2.1

SSH connections from this state to the Tera Term,

Host : 192.168.2.1
Ports : 22
SSH Version : SSH 2
Protocol : UNUNSPEC

If you connect like this, you will be rejected.

Please tell me how to connect to the terminal.

I am confused by a couple of things in your described setup. Are you trying to connect to the MTCAP via SSH from your PC using Tera Term? Also, I am not sure what you are referring to by UNUNSPEC.

What is the routing state of your PC? Do you have two NICs on your PC with one to a company or personal LAN used for Internet access, and a second connected to the MTCAP? Are you able to access the MTCAP using the Web UI? Have you configured your MTCAP Ethernet interface as WAN? If so, have you enabled access via WAN for SSH?

Protocol Options for Tera Term SSH configurations include UNSPEC, IPv6, and IPv4.

( UNUNSPEC is a typing error. * UNSPEC )

Currently I am trying to connect through a laptop. There is only one LAN port of the notebook.

The laptop is connected to the company’s public wifi and is connected to the MTCAP as a LAN port.

How do I use the web UI, and how do I configure my Ethernet to WAN?
