ffsend ERROR: unable to find automation directory

I’ve installed the faxfinder client software and copied the FaxFinder Client API to a folder on my desktop. I’m receiving an error message ‘Unable to find automation directory’ when trying to do a ‘ffsend testSpec.txt’ or even an ‘ffstatus’ command.

I do see an ‘Automation’ folder located here: C:Documents and SettingsaetkuApplication DataFaxFinder Client Software.

What am I missing?

Any help would be appreciated,

Hi Troy,

1. ffsend/ffstatus are unofficial commands and we do not support it.

2. However, we do support an official Web Service API with our newer product FFx30. Pls check out our user guide for the FFx30 starting on page 100 that talks about this Web Service API feature.

3. We also have several sample codes in many different programming languages that shows how to speak to our FFx30 product via Web Service API using HTTP request and response calls.
