Tagged: 868Mhz, longer range, mDot, using 20dBm
Hi,
In Europe ECC recommendation says that output power for 869.4-869.65 MHz is 500mW. In that case we can use 20dBm for this channel. Yet it also says that
“Narrow / wide-band modulation The whole
stated frequency band may be used as 1
channel for high speed data transmission”
What does it mean? Can’t we just use several frequencies in this interval?
With ‘addChannel()’ function, we can add several frequencies to mDot. What if we change all 8 band to something between 869.4-869.65? In this case we can always use 20dBm output which will result in longer range.
Our aim here is to get longer ranges therefore we are trying to use 20dBm as much as possible.
