    Hi,

    It seems that the iSms 400 does not report recieved messages if the text is empty.

    We have a service where we know the senders phone number and performs actions when a sms is recieved from the phone numbers. Unfortunately iSms ignores the messages if the message text is empty.

    This is a big issue for us. All messages should be reported by the iSms no matter the content.

    We currently use character set 7bit 3GPP 23.038 and firmware 1.51.21.

    Do you have a patch for this issue?

    Hi Thomas,
    It’s true that the current firmware doesn’t allow blank sms messages, outgoing or incoming. Another potential problem for you is incoming MMS messages. These aren’t currently supported and aren’t reported either.

    I will put in a bug report for the blank incoming sms messages problem, so this can be fixed in a future patch.
