Tagged: APN, command line
Hello All,
I’m attempting to change the APN on a Conduit: AEP Model from the command line. I’ve found instructions for the mLinux, but those commands do not work on the AEP model.
Commands for reference:
Set Up Cellular Data Connection
For MTCDT-H5, MTCDT-LAT1, MTCDT-LEU1, MTCDT-LAP3, and MTCDT-L4E1
# Set “APN” to the APN for your cellular provider
$ mlinux-set-apn APN
# Dial the connection (using /etc/ppp/peers/gsm config)
$ pppd call gsm
Does anyone know how to do this on the AEP model?
Thank you very much for your help!
Hello AlexB,
Those listed commands are for mLinux only.
When using AEP or mPower firmware, it is recommended to use the AEP/mPower GUI to change the APN. Suggested locations would be Cellular > Cellular Configuration or Administration > Debug Options > Radio Terminal.
If requiring command line, try the radio-cmd call to send commands directly to the radio. Keep in mind, this communication is directly to the radio.
Regards,
Mike
