After getting into the correct port for my device, I’m not able to configure most AT settings, they return back ERROR. When I try to activate my device I receive NO CARRIER.
I initially thought this was an antenna issue but i was able to get a reception of 17 when calling AT+CSQ.
The modem on the OCG-E unit is the MTSMC-EV2-U. It’s esn is registered to verizon and multitech reps haven’t been able to help much with my problem

Seeing that the current band is Cellular Sleep makes me wonder if there is something I’m doing wrong. I am accessing the modem through microcom on port /dev/ttyUSB0. If there is anything I’m doing wrong help would be appreciated as I’m running out of places to get answers.
If the modem is in fact working, would i be able to place a data call? What acknowledgement would I have?
