About multitech-arduino connection questions

Hello,

I’m connecting my arduino with the gateway Multitech and the waiting time for the connection is to high, may be an arduino problem or I can solve this at multitech configuration page. I’m trying the functioning and the arduino and getway are close, It can affect?

Another question is about to stop transmit data, I receive the data from the arduino but sometimes my gateway sends data (It seems to be a comprovation message) to arduino. I’ve tried at Network Settings->Database->Skip field check, is it correct?
