Re: lighttpd setup help
Hi!
First – I’ve been posting on this forum for the past two weeks and I’ve gotten a lot of good help and just wanted to say thanks to everyone that has helped me and been patient with my at times somewhat stupid questions. ^_^ However, I have more. So here it goes.
I’m trying to see if I can get lighttpd up and running. I would like it to run a simple php-script that returns some data that is stored locally on the box. It seems like it should be a fairly easy thing to do judging by the number of people who are using lighttpd. The way I understand it I will need to bitbake a new image file and flash it into the device with lighhttpd supported. It’s after this that I get a bit confused. In particular I would like to know –
1. Is lighttpd now installed and ready to be run?
2. If 1. How do I run it?
3. where can I find the corresponding config file and which is the default www directory.
4. How do I install php?
