Is there a firmware update (even beta version) for mDoT that is compatible with LoRaWAN 1.1. I wanted to test Roaming with mDOt.

We do not have an mDot specific library at this time to support LoRaWAN 1.1

ARM mbed has a LoRaWAN 1.1 stack that can run on mDot.
