Hi,
I have a lot of lorawan nodes and multiple multitech gateways (conduit indoor and outdoor).
It’s possible to use my gateways to geolocate my nodes (without gps included) only via lora radio ?
How I can integrate http://preview.collos.org/Home/About ?
Best regards.
Integration to collos would require the v2.1 gateway and GPS.
This is performed by a cloud network server forwarding location data to the location service.
The Conduit AP and 8-Channel IP67 Conduits cannot perform the accurate time-of-arrival required to locate end-devices.
What is a “v2.1 gateway” ?? I have the last version os multitech devices.. with GPS.
Hi Jo4p
MultiTech’s Conduit Gateways currently support Semtech HW reference design v1.5
which does not provide accurate timing for geolocation. We do manufacture an
IP67 Conduit Gateway that provides accurate timing and supports Semtech HW
reference design V2.1 for geolocation support. See the link below for the
V2.1 Gateway referenced for geolocation support.

oh Ok.
Do you have an example of implementation ? How it works ? I receive my packet with TDOA with packet forwarder ? Multitech calculates the geoposition or I need a external service like Collos ?
MultiTech’s V2.1 Gateway for geolocation is a Packet Forwarder that is
intended to be used with a public “LoRa Network Server” that offers/provides
geolocation as a service. All packets are forwarded to the LNS that uses
TDoA to calculate location.
