I would like to know if it is possible to use the following MDot Modules with the DFRobot Leonardo w/XBee Socket.

    – MTDOT-915-X1-SMA 915 MHz XBee LoRa SMA
    – MTDOT-915-X1P-SMA 915 MHz XBee LoRa SMA w/Programming Header

    https://www.dfrobot.com/wiki/index.php/DFRobot_Leonardo_with_Xbee_R3(SKU:DFR0221)” title=”DFRobot Leonardo Wiki

The only reason I have included the MDot w/Programming Header is I intend to order the MTKIT-LORA-915 – Conduit LoRa Accessory Kit 915 MHz. I guess if the Programming Header interferes with the Leonardo board I would use header extension.

It seems like a nice match, but I have not seen anyone mention using it.

Also if there is a preferred Arduino XBee Shield for the UNO.

    Thank You

If you are only using the factory firmware or programming the mDots in a UDK dev board then most xbee based boards should work. As I’ve not tried this myself, I’m only comparing the pinouts.

    thanks
